Not only is the University of Pennsylvania considered one of the top schools in the nation for academics, Penn has also been recognized as one of the top 22 schools in student spirit. Fans can now vote in ESPN.com to make Penn and the Red and Blue Crew the top school for student spirit.

Among the 22 schools are traditional powers Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, and Indiana. Your support is needed to rank Red and Blue Crew among the tops in student spirit. You can vote by clicking here.

The Red & Blue Crew is the official student section of Penn Men's Basketball and has been a major factor in the Quakers continued success in the Ivy League. In the past 14 years, Penn has won the Ivy League Championship 9 times, and has held the title for the past two years. This year as well looks to be very promising as Penn has a 9-6 record and is 2-0 in the Ivy League.

It is no secret that a huge factor in making the Red & Blue Crew one of the top student sections in the nation for student spirit is the historic Palestra, the home court of the Penn Quakers. Some say the Palestra “is a place with magic in the air.” Mark Zoller, Senior Quaker Forward, remembers, “Being awed by the amazing atmosphere.” The Palestra is certainly this and more. Featuring the tenacious intracity rivalry between the Big 5 Philadelphia schools, Penn, Temple, Villanova, St. Joe’s, and La Salle, the Palestra offers nail-biting finishes to the very end.

You can vote as often as you like and voting is completely free. Send the link to other Quaker Fans and alumni and together we can show the nation the our red and blue pride!
